CREATIVE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
THE EXPERIENCE
I don't like to just call it a newborn photoshoot, because it's so much more than that, it's a whole experience. I'm your babysitter, your none-judgmental Mum friend, your ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, advice giver, and I like to think a friend by the time you leave. Yes I am professional, of course I am. But I'll openly speak about how my nipples bled during breastfeeding and how I struggle parenting some days. I'm not clinical, I'm not 'by the book' like you get at most baby related appointments. I'm a fellow Mummy that will laugh and cry with you, I'm just real, and in return you will be comfortable.
As well as creating a safe and relaxing home from home environment for you parents and your baby, you'll also be well looked after. I will take care of your newborn and give them all of their feeds (obviously bottle, not breast, I'm not THAT over friendly). I'll burp them, comfort them, change their nappy and get them dressed.. all if you're happy for me to. If you choose the deluxe package, you can enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea that's provided at your session. It's your time to sit back and put your feet up, and actually enjoy a hot drink, which becomes rare when you're a new parent! If you have older children there's a play area in a separate room so they're entertained too.
The photography studio is specially designed for babies and new parents, with a prep machine and a bottle warmer for you to make your bottles just as you would at home. There is also a nursing chair for you Mummy's to have a comfortable and relaxed place to feed your baby. We even have a bed in studio two should you wish to have a snooze (you wouldn't be the first). As well as afternoon tea there's plenty of snacks and drinks on tap. Everything is taken care of for you, for a stress free experience.

At Inspirique Baby Photography, we are fully trained to handle and pose your baby safely and I can promise you, your bundle will never be put in any danger. I guarantee that you and your baby will feel completely comfortable at all times, knowing you are coming to a qualified photography studio that specialises in just babies. You will find cheaper photographers out there but remember, specialists aren't cheap for a reason. We dedicate 100% of our time and effort into perfecting our skill so you know you're coming to a safe place. You're trusting somebody with the most precious thing in your life, your baby, you can't put a price on that.

That is why l love to capture all it is that makes them newborns, those wrinkles and rolls, eyelashes, fingers and toes, hair, nose, ears and squidgy lips, all the things you so easily forget as they grow.

Where you have your newborns photos taken matters. As a Mum myself, I know how you may be feeling after giving birth. You might be exhausted, a little stressed or anxious and most likely still a little uncomfortable. I know first hand that when you leave the house with a newborn, everything is for show - the hair, the makeup, the smiles. This is why the whole experience is designed with you in mind too, not just your baby. The private studio is warm, cosy and comfortable, and an atmosphere you can relax and really be yourself in. You don't have to pretend to have your sh*t together with me, come as you are and take the time to have a hot drink whilst I work my magic with your baby.

AFTER THE NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT
Once we've finished your newborn photoshoot, I will then process your images to the highest standard, spending time turning them into beautiful art work - giving you a wide range to enjoy for years to come. These will be emailed 1-2 weeks following your session.
As I know you will be very keen to see some photos, I will get a sneak peek onto social media within a day or so, as it is a great way to tag and share with your friends and family. If you do wish to keep your images private, this is no problem at all, just inform me of this beforehand. If you do want the social media preview, there will be a free print up for grabs too.
As well as sending your beautiful gallery, I will also guide you with what images work best together for any prints and wall art you may decide to get. Please note, I am just there to advise you from my professional point of view and there is never any hard sell.
I’ve recently given birth to my first and I really wanted someone to capture my precious baby in his first few weeks, all Mother’s say time flies by so quick and before you know it they are all grown up. I was quite nervous about someone posing my baby who was only 10 days at the time but boy am I glad I had the pictures taken.. Jade was amazing! Before the shoot I received an email containing all the information I needed to know about the day. On the day I felt so comfortable with the shoot, Jade was so great with him, she stopped to let me feed him and didn’t rush me at all, she wasn’t bothered about the wee and pooh everywhere during the shoot either. I am so glad I had the shoot done!

BOOK YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT
Newborn photoshoots are generally booked after your 12 week scan. It sounds crazy thinking about it so early on but sessions are very limited due to the unpredictability of when babies arrive, for this reason I can only take a maximum of 10 newborn bookings per month to allow for early/ late arrivals as no date is set until baby arrives.
Please reserve your slot as soon as you possibly can to avoid disappointment. I will always try my best to accommodate last minute bookings, which are sometimes doable if babies don't arrive on time as it'll allow a free date in the diary, but please be aware I am not always able to do so, do not rely on this option! The starter package usually caters better for last minute bookings. But if your baby has already been born, please contact us before booking directly online.
