12 hours contracted hours per week at £9:50 an hour

This is a starting base, more hours will be given as experienced is gained. 

Monday: one hour at home

Wednesday: 1:30 - 17:30 in the studio

Friday 9:30 - 17:30 in the studio (included one hours lunch)

+ occasional hours during other days, including weekends for example at Christmas for 'Mini Sessions Weekend'.

Start date would be Monday 15th August and full training will be given.

You will be working on a self employed basis. Therefore you can claim all expenses back such as fuel, laptop, utility bills at home, clothing etc etc.


  • replying to emails & social media messages

  • taking and making phone calls

  • managing social media accounts such as facebook, instagram, twitter, tik tok etc

  • taking bookings via phone, email and website

  • managing the diary, both online and physically

  • speaking to clients, and handling their orders

  • ordering and packaging client orders

  • inventory checks and ordering stock

  • posting client orders at the post office

  • collecting cakes from the baker for cake smash photoshoots


  • be computer literate

  • have an excellent telephone manner

  • have great wording skills for typing replies

  • be comfortable handling bookings and speaking to clients

  • have knowledge in excel

  • have technical knowledge with emails etc

  • have understanding how to run social media pages

  • follow directions perfectly



  • use of own laptop and internet

  • local to Melton Mowbray, LE13 1XD

  • very flexible and reliable

  • good time management skills

  • a positive attitude and a laid back personality

  • experience in admin/ reception duties is a must

You do not need to have experience or know anything about photography, you will not be handling babies, taking photos or editing images. This is purely admin work and not photography related.
