A 'Rainbow Baby' is a baby who is welcomed into a family after they have experienced loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. It stems from the idea that a rainbow, symbolising hope and comfort, follows the storm of grief caused by a baby loss. When a rainbow appears it does not mean the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds.

Inspirique Baby Photography strongly believes in charity work, with currently being a voluntary photographer for 'Remember My Baby' - a bereavement charity offering photographic services for parents losing their baby before, during or shortly after birth, and 'Butterfly Wishes Network' - providing photoshoots for families with children that suffer from a life threatening illness. As well as volunteering for these amazing charities, Inspirique gifts free 'Rainbow Baby' sessions to families that are deserving of this. While these photos can’t possibly replace any of the babies that were sadly lost or heal the pain, they aim to be special and celebrate the rainbow that followed the storm.

 

One 'Rainbow Baby' session is gifted per month to eligible families. These photoshoots are to be held within 3 weeks of birth at Inspirique's studio in Syston, Leicester. Please apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, the earlier the better. 

 

The 'Rainbow Baby' session includes:

30-60 mins session at Inspirique's photography studio in Syston

x3 rainbow themed set ups of your choice (multiple to choose from)

x3 7x5 lustre printed images (1 of each image)

Additional prints, wall art and digital images can be purchased, but this is not mandatory and there is absolutely no hard sell.
