THE CAKE

With the full creative cake smash, you get a real cake for your baby to eat and play with, which you also get to take home with you. 

SETS

The full session is the whole experience, and you get four photoshoots in one setting. We start with the cake smash, then have the splash and play, then we take some normal portraits without the cake, finishing with family photographs.

PREPARATION

You will have a consultation before the session via email or telephone to discuss your requirements, making your photoshoot as bespoke to you as possible. We discuss your favourite colours, the props you would like to see used, your preferred style of images and the poses you'd like to get.

TIME

Full sessions take up to 2 hours. During the full session, I take time to sooth and settle your baby, we allow time for feeding, crying, changing etc to ensure your baby is happy so we can get the discussed photos. It takes longer as there is much more to work through with multiple sets, including plenty of props and sibling/ parent shots.

STYLING & POSING

As mentioned above, the full cake smash sessions include multiple sets and styles including 4 different scenes. These sessions are designed to be creative sessions, where I will position your baby in multiple different poses, many different colours and styles are used to create a wide gallery of images. Parent and/ or sibling photographs are also included at no extra cost.

EDITING

The full session images are given the option to be edited more thoroughly. I will never edit a baby beyond my usual editing style unless parents request, however in the full sessions things like blemishes and dry skin etc can be edited upon request.

AMOUNT OF IMAGES

In the full sessions, I aim to create a gallery of around 30 images, possibly more if parents and siblings are involved. 

PRICING & PACKAGES

The full creative newborn session has a choice of packages to choose from, any of which require a £99 redeemable deposit which is deducted from the total cost. You then come back to the studio to view your gallery of 30+ images and decide on a package. Should you wish not to purchase any images, the £99 is refundable for the full session.

EXTRAS

The packages that come with the full photoshoot also include money off vouchers for wall art and your next session too.

Both the creative and the mini include a referral scheme where you earn £20 cash-back for each friend you recommend.

THE CAKE

With the cake smash mini session, we use a dummy cake. It looks real for the photographs, but there's no eating or mess involved.

SETS

The mini session is just one set and focusses on just your baby and the cake. There's no bath tub, portraits or family images. The idea is to get a handful of images to celebrate your baby turning one without it being a big event.

PREPARATION

There's not as much prep to do for a mini session as we don't use a wide variety of props and colours for this type of session. However you will still be fully prepped on what to expect but the only thing you'll need to give me is your chosen backdrop from our huge inventory.

TIME

Mini sessions take approx 30-60 minutes. Of course if they are crying or unhappy, I will try my best to sooth them to a content mood. You are never kicked out of the door when your hour is up, I will always make sure I get your beautiful images.

STYLING & POSING

The mini sessions are photographs of just your beautiful baby alone with the dummy cake, and do not include parent or sibling images. You get to choose one backdrop and we'll use one outfit taking multiple photos on the one set. So you still get a variety of images but there's not multiple colours, poses, sets and styles like in the full creative.

EDITING

Of course I edit all of my images to perfection, but the difference between a baby full session and a baby mini session is that the mini sessions are light, basic editing, for a pure and simple finish. Extreme edits would be at an additional cost.

AMOUNT OF IMAGES

For the mini sessions, there will be a gallery of 10 images, where you will choose your 3 favourites.

PRICING & PACKAGES

The mini session is a one off, all inclusive price of £299 which includes 3 digital images. These are emailed to you within 72 hours, therefore you do not need to come back to a viewing. They are designed to be quick and easy (although never rushed), to capture just your beautiful baby and how small and perfect they are, with no added fuss. 

EXTRAS

You are still entitled to receive the benefit of the referral scheme where you earn £20 cash-back for each friend you recommend.
