Maternity photoshoots are carried out in your third trimester, and are beautiful, once in a lifetime memories of your fabulous bump.

Similar to the standard newborn sessions, but if a full creative newborn photoshoot is out of your budget, or if you don't want to spend too long in the studio but you still want some gorgeous keepsake images of your little bundle of joy. These mini sessions will be perfect for you.  They are shorter shoots for babies 1-16 weeks old, focussing on wrapped images on the beanbag and in props, which are simple, natural, and minimalistic with light editing. The sessions happen with baby either awake or asleep as they are designed to be quick budget shoots, focussing on your beautiful baby to get a varied gallery. There's no fuss with colours and poses, just simple timeless images.

Babies grow and change so quickly, not too long after they were that tiny bundle that their little features start to fill out into that mini person they're becoming. By the time they reach a couple of months their changes are even more evident and they really start to show their characters and personalities. What better way to capture this important milestone than a set of gorgeous images? They can now sit on their own and they have an interest in everything. They're starting to laugh and get very vocal, responding to silly noises, singing and dancing which create great expressions for amazing images. Sitter sessions are carried out for babies sitting unaided, around 6-12 months.

A 'Rainbow Baby' is a baby who is welcomed into a family after they have experienced loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. It stems from the idea that a rainbow, symbolising hope and comfort, follows the storm of grief caused by a baby loss. When a rainbow appears it does not mean the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds. One 'Rainbow Baby' session is gifted per month to eligible families. These photoshoots are to be held within 10 weeks of birth, you may nominate somebody else or apply for yourself.

Newborns are newborns for what seems like a second, and capturing the first magical moments of your baby's life is irreplaceable. You wait months for your little bundle of joy to arrive, so once they're here, treasure every moment. Your baby will rapidly change every single day, which is why it's so important to capture them as they will change right before your eyes. That is why l love to capture all it is that makes them newborns, those wrinkles and rolls, eyelashes, fingers and toes, hair, nose, ears and squidgy lips, all the things you so easily forget as they grow. We book a provisional date based on your due date and confirm once baby is here, making sure we photograph within the first 8 weeks of birth.

Your little bundle is suddenly growing into a beautiful baby, and changing right before your eyes, you are noticing they're not so newborn anymore yet they're still so sweet and small. They're starting to respond to you, smile, giggle and show their character. It's such an important milestone to show how quickly they are developing. They are starting to find fascination in the smallest things, which make for great images. They aren't sitting on their own yet but they're holding their own heads so photoshoots are created with your baby lying down, on their front, back and side, photos from above, and propped up, focussing on capturing their new found expressions between 2-6 months.

At 12 months, babies are becoming more independent and love to get stuck into it. They won't remember their first birthday, but they will love looking at the photographic memories captured when they're old enough.

An 'Angel Baby' is a baby who is a child that is devastatingly no longer with us. A baby that was stillborn or passed away shortly after birth. The phrase angel baby means an infant that grew his or her wings too soon.
