Your hospital bag checklist

Preparing for the hospital and packing your bag can be both exciting and scary. I packed and re-packed my bag about 5 times, each time thinking I'd forgotten something. I packed so much and turned up to hospital as if I was planning a luxury weekend away. And in all honesty, I barely needed any of it. However, it's better to be over prepared than under prepared, so I've created a FREE hospital bag checklist, which you can view and print.

It's a good idea to have your bag ready at around 35 weeks, just incase baby decides to surprise you and arrive early. As you near the end of your pregnancy, keep them by the door or in the car, especially if you're out and about a lot. The last thing you want is to go into labour AKA panic mode and have to rummage at the back of the wardrobe for the bag, or be out for the day with your bag at home.

Even if you're not planning a hospital birth, you may need to go in unexpectedly so it's still handy to have the essentials packed for you, baby and your birthing partner(s).
